Ingredients
- 1 package Southside Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, cut into circles ¾” thick
- (2) 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 package thick cut bacon, slices cut in half
- 16 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup pickled jalapeños, diced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. Southside Original BBQ Seasoning
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F or if using a BBQ grill, heat to 350F with an indirect setup using post oak wood for smoke.
Wrap sausage slices in bacon and secure with toothpicks to make small sausage and bacon “cups”. Assemble in your disposable aluminum tray.
Mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and pickled jalapeños. Place the cheese mixture into a one-gallon disposable bag and cut off a small corner to use as a piping bag. Pipe the cheese mixture into each sausage and bacon cup.
Top each shot with a slice of fresh jalapeno (if desired). Sprinkle Southside Original BBQ Seasoning on top.
