This one-skillet meal featuring our Southside Polish Sausage is simply scrumptious! With sizzling sausage, peppers, potatoes, and the added garnishes of your choosing – this recipe makes a hearty, colorful dish perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. Southside Market Polish Sausage - cut into circles
- 1 red bell pepper - diced
- 1 green bell pepper - diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper - diced
- 1 white onion - diced
- 2-3 medium russet potatoes - peeled and diced
- Southside Premium Smoked Steak Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
Garnishes (optional):
- Green onions - diced
- Shredded Cheese
Directions:
Heat Cast iron skillet on med-high and add 1 tbsp. olive oil. Fry potatoes in batches (so as not to crowd the pan) until potatoes are well browned and cooked through. Season with the Smoked Steak Seasoning to taste
Remove potatoes from skillet and set aside – add the Southside Market Polish Sausage to skillet and cook for about 3 minutes, until each side is golden brown. Remove sausage from skillet and set aside.
Add veggies to skillet and cook until the onions are transparent and the peppers begin to brown on their edges.
Return potatoes and sausage to the skillet and mix well. Remove skillet from heat and allow the carry over heat to warm the potatoes and sausage. If desired, garnish with green onions and shredded cheese. Serve immediately.
Tips:
Can be made ahead of time and simply warmed in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
